BRIC is your dedicated broker for all domestic builders insurance (DBI) needs. As one of only four authorised builders warranty distributors of the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC), we offer expert guidance and support throughout the entire process.
From helping you obtain a letter of eligibility to assisting with purchasing home warranty insurance, our team of specialists is here to support you every step of the way.
Builders wishing to purchase DBI are required to hold eligibility with the building and plumbing commission. To apply for eligibility, please call us on 1800 077 933 to obtain an eligibility application form.
Arranging DBI is simple and fast
The process for arranging DBI is simple and fast, with applications for certificates available via the BuildVic online portal.
If you’re a builder with existing eligibility and have access to BuildVic, you can select BRIC as your distributor via the portal by selecting 'Edit Builder Details'. If you’re having issues selecting BRIC via BuildVic, email us at bric-warranty@bric.com.au.
To access BuildVic, you must nominate a distributor from the BPC panel.
If you’re a new builder applying for DBI eligibility, email us at bric-warranty@bric.com.au to start your eligibility application.
If you already have eligibility but do not have access to BuildVic, email us at bric-warranty@bric.com.au.
